Privacy Policy

What we collect

• When you buy: your name, email address and (optionally) phone number; the products in your order, prices, any coupon and discount; Razorpay's order and payment references; whether and when the payment was confirmed; and whether your purchase email was sent.
• A normalised form of your email address (lower-case, without "+tags", and without dots for Gmail addresses), used only so that coupon limits such as "one per customer" can't be bypassed with variations of the same address.
• When you request a free product: your email address, the product and the time.
• When a download link is issued: the order or free request it belongs to, the product, the file version and the time. We do not record your IP address with downloads.
• When you use the contact form: your name, email, chosen topic, optional order number and message. These are emailed to our support inbox; they are not stored in our website database.
• To prevent abuse, some actions (checkout, purchase recovery, free requests, contact) are rate-limited. For this we store a one-way hash of your IP address with a counter — not the IP address itself.

We do not collect card, UPI or bank details, location data, device fingerprints or advertising profiles.

Payments

Payments are processed by Razorpay. You enter your payment details in Razorpay's secure window; Razorpay handles them under its own privacy policy and shares with us only the payment status and references we need to confirm your order. Razorpay may use cookies within its payment window.

Why we use your information

• To process payments, confirm orders and deliver your products and services.
• To send transactional emails: your purchase confirmation with your private download link, and a fresh copy if you ask for one. We don't send marketing emails, and we don't email people who request free products.
• To answer support requests, handle refunds and prevent fraud, link sharing and abuse.
• To keep the business records we are required to keep.

Service providers

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We use these providers to run the website:

• Cloudflare — hosting, network security, our database (orders, free requests, download log), private file storage for products, and access control for our staff admin area. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes visitors' IP addresses to deliver and protect the website.
• Razorpay — payment processing.
• Resend — sending our transactional emails (purchase confirmations and contact-form messages to our inbox).
• Google Fonts — the website's typefaces are loaded from Google's servers, which receive your IP address and browser details when the fonts load.

Links to YouTube, Instagram or other sites take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.

Cookies and browser storage

The website itself sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies, and Razorpay may set cookies inside its payment window.

Your browser's local storage keeps your cart, an entered coupon code, and a short list of orders made on this device (order number, email, payment ID and your private purchase-page link) so you can find them again. This stays on your device; clear it from your browser settings, especially on a shared computer. Session storage is used only for visual effects.

Downloads and storage

Product files are kept in private storage and are never publicly accessible. Each download link is signed by our server, tied to your purchase or free request, and expires after a short time (10 minutes for purchases, 30 minutes for free products).

Security

The website uses HTTPS throughout. Your purchase page is protected by a long random key in its link — keep it private. Our admin area is restricted to authorised staff through Cloudflare Access. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit what we collect and who can see it.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as needed to give you access to your purchases, provide support and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations. Free-download requests and download records are kept until you ask us to delete them. Rate-limit counters are overwritten as new limit windows start.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing protonixacademy@gmail.com from the address you used. We will delete what we can; some order records must be kept for legal and accounting reasons.

Changes

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and its date.
